YEG, Alberta – September 1, 2014 – 100 Men Who Give A Damn! - YEG is open for giving and is recruiting members – specifically, men who care about their community.
One hundred men will each bring a blank $100 cheque to a group meeting four times per year. Three different local charities will present during each meeting, one will be selected as the recipient, and that charity will then walk away with all the cheques: $10,000 or more in total. Each member's $400 per year commitment translates into at least $40,000 for four local charities.
A few men will volunteer to head this cause in order to achieve big impacts for local YEG charities.
As we are all aware, the presence in social media has the capacity to assist in making this a huge success. We ask for your help in this area so that you can directly assist four not-for-profit groups per year. It's clear to us that many, many men really do care about their community.
Interested individuals should visit www.100MenYEG.com to learn about and join the group.
The first quarterly meeting of 100 Men Who Give a Damn! - YEG will be held at the Edmonton Petroleum Club on Wednesday October 15 starting at 5:45pm.
100 Men Who Give a Damn! - YEG considers itself to be a 'non-organization' as there is no board, no joint stocks registration, no treasurer, no income and no expenses. Every penny goes to the selected charity - the 100 Men YEG group simply facilitates the donations.
